The West Bend Theatre Company is calling for cast members for the award-winning broadway musical, South Pacific, composed by Richard Rodgers, with lyrics by Oscar Hammerstein II and book by Hammerstein and Joshua Logan. Based on James A. Michener's Pulitzer Prize-winning 1947 book Tales of the South Pacific and combines elements of several of those stories. Rodgers and Hammerstein wrote a successful musical that sends a strong progressive message on racism.

Performance are July 19-21 and 26-28 at the Silver Lining Arts Center, and features themes of romance, duty, and prejudice to create a story that is all at once humorous, heartbreaking, and thought-provoking. .
